Blow the whistle on Palantir in the NHS

No Palantir in the NHS is the campaign to cancel the contract between the NHS and Palantir to provide a ‘Federated Data Platform’ (FDP).

The purpose of this site is to provide ways for NHS workers to share information, messages and documents with the No Palantir in the NHS campaign more securely, should they wish to.

Like many critical challenges to power, this issue has made ground through leaks, whistleblowers and sources, who have bravely shared their concerns with the public. But workers face immense pressure to toe the line in implementing Palantir’s FDP, and many fear professional repercussions for challenging the FDP.

The much-needed attention on the issue would not be possible without NHS insiders sharing information because they know how important it is to stop this contract. Any information you share with us through this website will be handled sensitively, in the public interest, and with the maximum care for your security. To be protected by whistleblowing law, you need to focus on information and fact, as allegations without any element of disclosure are less likely to be protected.

We are particularly interested to review documents, internal communications, screenshots or other information that highlight:

  • Data privacy concerns or breaches within Palantir’s Federated Data Platform
  • Technological and quality concerns with the FDP
  • Workplace intimidation, repression or threats for speaking up about the FDP
  • Conflicts of interests, benefit offers for speaking in favour of the FDP

Whistleblowers enjoy protections under UK law – but these do not necessarily prevent immediate repercussions and sanctions from employers. We know that workers in the NHS fear professional reprisals if they were found to have shared information that is considered sensitive, despite the public interest.

That’s why it is crucial that you protect your identity, both through using the tools and communication methods we provide on this page, as well as taking additional measures when obtaining and transporting documents, detailed below.

We have set up a SecureDrop server – this is the best, most anonymous and secure way you can send documents to us.

If you would prefer to chat, you can also get in touch with us by email and we have provided guidance on how to do this securely.
